Because we drove through the night Saturday night (into Easter Sunday) and because Deanna and Mom were either out of town or busy, we did not do any kind of Easter egg hunt this year. I was a little sad about this (as was my good friend Heather who thought I was a HORRIBLE mom for not even getting the girls Easter baskets), so when Mom offered to host an Easter egg hunt/lunch date for the kids, I was very excited to say the least!
So...on Saturday, we went to Grandmas and participated in our first Easter egg hunt! It was the PERFECT day! The weather was beautiful, the kids all did great looking for and finding eggs, we had a great lunch and then we walked the kids to the park to play on the playground. I could not have asked for a more perfect afternoon! Hanging out with two of my very favorite ladies and my four favorite kids was just awesome!
