Report cards

Got our first FCPS report cards today! Happy to say the girls seem to be doing great. The cards are a little confusing but basically, they are Meeting Expectations in everything (which apparently is the highest score teachers will give first marking period), and they got all "4s" in social and behavior categories ...which  is the highest score. Proud of my girls and hoping this can last for 12+ more years!! Haha!

Dance Recital!

Although I am SO not cut out to be a dance mom....two hours of hair and make-up over a two day period is no fun for a non-girly girl like me....the girls did such a great job with their recital this weekend!!  I videoed the rehearsal on Saturday, so if I can figure out how to get it on here, I will put it up!!  They were the only ones that had really practiced outside of class I think!  They knew every part of the dance and did awesome!!!!!  I was a proud dance mom!!!!

Both girls were out cold on the way home...it didn't help that we had rehearsal all day Saturday and then went to Tia Gaby's for a BBQ Saturday night and didn't get home until 11:00pm.  Whoops!
