This is a day I have been waiting for since I started registering for baby stuff! My babies are DONE with their nasty high chairs. I have always had an aversion to high chairs and really did not want to get them at all. They just gross me out. I don't know why...it isn't like I am a clean freak or anything...but the thought of crusted on food in all those little crevices just makes me crazy! So, while we were in Savannah, it occurred to me that the girls were doing fine with the booster seat that Grandpa had, so I went ahead and ordered the girls their own booster seats for the house. They are still a bit short for them, but they can reach their food and they really seem to like sitting at the table (and I like being able to sit with them!!).
Now that we have moved the table back to it's normal place (it used to be against the wall in order to make room for the high chairs...yet another reason I am excited!), we have to be very careful to push in the chairs at all times. Both girls are very good at climbing up on the tall chairs...this is what Isabella did the very first day we had it back in place...they are such monkeys!
Tonight after dinner, the girls were still hungry. I offered them cinnamon cheerios (don't judge..I know it has a ton of sugar...but it was on the counter, so I thought I would see if they wanted it). Nope..they didn't want that...but they kept pointing at the counter asking for something...what was it? Broccoli. Only my kids would beg for broccoli as an after dinner snack!
And finally...yesterday I captured some pictures of playtime. They were running all around the house and deck holding hands...it was so cute!!
This is one of their favorite things to do...they each get on one side of the door and make faces at each other. They scream and stick their tongues out. They do this all the time and it always cracks me up!!
