Yesterday, the girls had their very first dentist appointment!! We have been trying to get them ready for it for the last week. Every time we talked about going, Leah would say "No Dentist!" And Isabella would respond by telling her "It will be fun Leah." This was all the way up to the car ride up there. Once we got there, they were both champs though! They played in the waiting room and read books with Heidi for 10 minutes while I filled out paperwork and we waited for them to come and get us (after we checked out the potty of course).
When we were walking into the room, Leah was still saying "No Dentist" but she was happy and didn't really seem to mind walking into the room. The girls were very excited to see that the dentist chair could be used as a slide and she soon forgot about her fear. We decided that she would go first so that she wouldn't get upset after seeing Bella. And...she did awesome. She didn't cry at all...she let them clean her teeth, floss the two teeth that are a little close, and scrape a little plaque off of one. She was a champ!

After Leah, it was Bella's turn. As excited as she was about coming to the dentist...she sure didn't show that same excitement about laying back and having her teeth cleaned. She cried a little and seemed pretty uncomfortable, but she still did a great job and got all of her teeth cleaned and counted!
Both girls have 20 teeth and they are all spaced perfectly! This is a great thing for Mommy because I don't have to floss them yet! Yay!

Overall, a very successful day! I'm grateful that their dentist visit was nothing like Mommy's typical visit :)
