Lots of Random

We have had a lot of fun things going on that I have captured with pics on my phone.  I finally downloaded them, so here ya go...

Playing with the train table at Barnes and Noble

The next couple ones are just typical dinner.  The girls LOVE to make silly faces.  They play a game now where they will say, "I turn you into a mean mommy," and I am supposed to make a mean face and speak in a terse tone.  Then they will turn me back into a nice mommy.  We go all around the table doing this to each other FOREVER every night at dinner each night.

Since the girls aren't napping anymore, they are randomly falling asleep for 10 or 15 minutes around the house some days.

A couple weekends ago, our old nanny Kelly came by for a visit!  SO good to see her :)

Showing the girls old pictures of themselves

We also got to meet Kelly's boyfriend.  Seems like a really great guy!!!

One MAJOR milestone we have managed to overcome in the last couple weeks is getting rid of the pacifier!!!  YAY!  A couple Saturdays ago, we headed to the mall with Grandma and brought our pacifiers with us. The girls each picked their favorite pacifiers (Leah's was her "other purple paci" and Isabella's was her green paci).  We took them to build a bear and the girls each got to pick whatever animal they wanted and build the stuffed animal around the pacifier.  It was really fun.  We have never done build a bear before and it is a really cute process.  The girls pick an animal and then they get to help stuff it (they pushed the petal on the machine) and put the heart (and pacifier) in it.  Then they get to create a birth certificate for it.  Finally, it gets a little carrier for them to take it home in.  Overall, a very fun process.

They rubbed the heart to make it warm (I think that is what they did...)

I think they had to close thier eyes to start the heart??

Very proud of their carriers

The first night without the paci was VERY hard.  They cried and cried, but finally fell asleep and slept all through the night.  Since then, they have asked for it here and there when they are really tired, but otherwise have been great about it!  They didn't sleep as well for the first week or two, but they are back to pretty normal sleeping now!

The same day that we did the paci thing, was  the day that Kelly came over.  One of the reasons she came was so that we could give her a bunch of stuff for a mom that she knows that just had preemie twins.  One of the things we gave her was a bag of all the girls preemie clothes.  This was one of the outfits!  We kept two outfits that now serve as PJs for their animals.  CRAZY that the girls were THIS small!!!!!

Fishing in the back yard with Daddy

The other day at a friend's playground, the girls finally learned how to "pump" their legs when swinging.  They still would rather be pushed, but fun to see them learning new skills.

They were playing the basement the other day and came upstairs looking like this!!

When we had a few warm days a few weeks ago, Cesar set up a tent in the backyard and he and the girls camped out (yea...that's right...I stayed in my nice comfy bed).

My bed as I left for work the other day...I was very jealous and had to take a picture :)
