So, things have gotten much better with the big girl beds. We still have our normal sleep issues (Bella not wanting to go to sleep and crying at bedtime, Leah waking up because she lost her pacifier...YES...I KNOW...they SHOULD NOT have pacifiers anymore...that is the next thing we will tackle, and both girls wake up without any blankets almost every night and need help getting them back on) but overall they are doing well. They don't get out of their cribs at night ever and they usually nap well. I am actually OK when they don't nap becuase it means a much earlier and easier betime, but either way is fine with me. I make the stay in their room for their normal nap period and the rule is that they have to stay in their beds during that time (not that it alwasy works out that way, but thats OK!).
Anyway, no pictures to accompany this post :( This weekend is Demi's 2nd Bday, so hopefully I will have some then!
I've been contemplating when to change the girlies into big girl beds and I'm just not ready! Is that bad of me? And as for a paci - Livvy still has hers too, only at bedtime and naptime, but hey, a parent has to do what a parent has to do! You will get zero judgment from me! Good to hear from you and glad things are going seemingly well =)
ReplyDeleteMy twins never napped in their big girl beds, they just wouldn't stay down! I ended up having to either drive around till they fell asleep or stick them on the couch with Dora on--they would pass out within minutes.
ReplyDeleteThe pacifier thing will come. Don't put more pressure on yourself than necessary! The big bed thing is HARD! Kudos!!
