First Field Trip

Today, the girls went on their first field trip ever!  We went to Gaver Farms...another really fun pumpkin farm that has LOTS of awesome things for kids to do.  It was FREEZING when we got there...as you can see by all of the layers that we were forced to wear, but outside of that, it was a pretty perfect day!  Grandparents were welcomed to come, so we asked Grandma to come with us and had such a great time with her.

The first thing we did when we got there was take a hayride to the pumpkins.  We each got to pick a pumpkin!

Grandma helped Leah pick hers...

Then she carried them around for the girls :)

The girls' teacher wanted to take a picture with each girl with the pumpkin they chose...of course at this point they decided that they had picked the same pumpkin!

After the hayride, we got to feed and pet some animals...mostly goats.

Leah discovered the little ducky races...she LOVED doing this with her little classmate.

Bella and Grandma found another duck race...

And...where there is a slide...we must go!

Leah went down alone right away...

Isabella was a little scared and needed a little help the first couple times...

But once she tried it alone, she LOVED it!

Look who we saw there!!  Jen and Caleb have a season pass and decided to come up today...we also saw a few of our other neighbors there too!!

The girls loved this "pirate ship" (Ark)

And of course...we had to bounce...

The lady in pink is their teacher...who by the way has EIGHT kids..6 of whom I taught...all of whom are out of middle school already.  Hope I look like that good when the girls get that old!
