Today we had our 1 month doctor's visit. I can't believe how fast time is going. Everyone says that these days go by so fast and they really do! Some days it feels like this season will go on forever (like when the girls are up and playing at 2am..which is when I am writing this!), but then I realize they are already getting so big. As of today, Isabella is up to 6 lbs. 4 oz. and Leah is 6lbs 14 oz. I can't believe she is almost 7 pounds!! They are both 20 & 1/4 inches long. Both are still under "normal" weight and height for their age, but the doc says they are doing a great job at catching up!
I learned a very important lesson today...I will NEVER go to the doctor alone again :) The girls decided to both scream their heads off, Isabella peed all over the table, Leah spit up all over (managing to have milk come out both her mouth AND her nose), and both girls had to get shots! Fun times doing that on my own!
Yesterday, the girls had their developmental assessments. They did a great job! They are doing all the things they are supposed to be doing at this age.
My new favorite thing is that they love to play together. When they are both awake, if we put them on the ground for play-time, they will spend an hour or more just cooing and talking to each other. They wave their hands around and stare at each other. They really seem to like being together down there!
