We had a great weekend!!! Saturday, we started off with the girls soccer games...which was nothing less than miserable! They absolutely hate soccer and cry during the games half the time. UGH. Torture for this mommy! Anyway...after that things got a lot better!! The girls and I stopped by the place where Cesar's students were competing in a tournament and they were ROCKING it! His school just annihilated everyone all day. They walked away with 18+ medals...most of those gold! So proud of all the work he is putting into these kids and adults!!
Anyway, then the girls and I went home and took a nice long nap together...then woke up and packed for a camping trip! As soon as Cesar got home we drove up to Harper's Ferry and camped out! Our good friends the Stillmans came and had dinner and S'mores with us and then drove home that night. The girls absolutely LOVE everything about camping...and so did I until we saw a GIANT ENORMOUS HAIRY spider right next to our tent in the morning! I swear it was a tarantula! UGH...it was pretty awful. Anyway, this may be my last camping trip this year...I need some time to recover from that. He He! In the morning, we played for a long time, had a pancake breakfast, and the girls played their first round of mini-golf every (and both hit a hole in one on the FIRST try!) They were a little disappointed every round after that as they were getting much higher numbers!!
After that we left the camp site, went home and took a nap, and then everyone came to my soccer game!! Overall an amazing weekend!!!! I really love family weekends like that!!!!
