The girls had their 4 year check up today and I am so happy to say it is over! I knew they had to get 4 or 5 shots each and I have been dreading it all weekend. They both did fine with them and after some screaming and crying, were consoled by donuts at dunkin donuts afterwards (see picture below!).
There were a lot of funny things from the appointment to embarrass them with later!! Leah was so excited to strip down to her underwear that she cried when they made her put her clothes back on and kept telling us and the doctor that she just wanted to be naked! She also broke out into hysterical laughter when the doctor asked me if she was going pee pee and poo poo with no problems. The doctor asked the girls what their favorite foods were, to which Leah responded with chicken, broccoli and kiwi and Isabella simply said, "Candy!" Whoops...looks like I have rubbed off on her a little too much!! Overall, it was a good visit other than the shots and the girls both seem nice and healthy!
Here are their 4 year stats!
Leah is 3'5.5 inches tall and 39 pounds. She grew two inches and gained 5 pounds in the last year. Isabella is 3'4.5 inches tall and 35 pounds. She also grew two inches and gained 3 pounds in the past year. Leah is in the 85th percentile for height and 80th percentile for weight. Isabella is in the 70th percentile for height and 50th for weight.
