On Wednesday, the girls and I woke up and left the house at 4:45 to head down to Savannah to visit Grandpa and Grandma Vicki. The girls were BEYOND excited...they have talked about this trip for 6 months and the day had finally come!! When I went into their room to get them, the immediately jumped out of bed and ran down stairs! They were perfect angels on the way down and we made the trip in 10 hours with a stop for breakfast and a stop for lunch!
We had a wonderful visit while we were there...the girls LOVED hanging out with Grandpa and Grandma Vicki, going to the pool, playing in the "house playground" next door, riding in the golf cart with Grandpa, going to visit my good friend Nicole, the "Easter Party" and pretty much anything we did! They slept in the same bed for the first time ever and did GREAT!! I was a little nervous that they wouldn't sleep well, but they went to sleep easily, and for the most part slept all through the night with no problems! That was a highlight of the week for me!! Overall, it was one of my favorite times at Dad's! It was sad to have to come home :(
