Kai and Demi came over to go to the pool last week. As soon as they pulled into the neighborhood the skies opened up, so we ended up having a play-date in the house!

Then, later in the week (or I think it was the next day), we decided to go to Bethesda to go to the playseum (we had bought a Groupon that expired that week). We sat in traffic for over an hour to get there because 355 was basically shut down. We finally got out of the car and got all the kids wrangled up (including my friend Jen and her son who was also going to come) and realize the place is CLOSED for a field trip! UGH! We were not happy. But...we made the best of the situation and went to a big Barnes and Noble for a picnic lunch and to play with the toys there. It actually ended up being a pretty good day (well..maybe not for Deanna who got paint scraped on the side of her car and who got a ticket while we were at the Barnes and Noble). We did get some cute pics at least!!
Due to the crazy storms last weekend, we got to have Demi, Kai, Deanna & Matt over to go to the pool (one positive of that craziness!). Here are some shots!
