Organization!

One of my many tasks this summer was to try to organize my house.  I had many things I wanted to do, and only got through some, but I did get the three big things done...organize the babys' closet (well...still working on that but it will be done tomorrow), organize the toy area on the main floor, and organize the kitchen.  That last one has been such a HUGE blessing!  I took EVERYTHING out of EVERY cabinet in the kitchen and put it all back in new places where it would be more efficient.  When we moved in, I had no idea where things should go and a lot of stuff just got shoved in random places.  Then the babies came and I definitly didn't have the brain power to think about where everything should go.  However, this summer, I decided I was going to tackle the job...and it is awesome!  4 trash bags later, we have a very organized kitchen and I am a happy woman!  I found some pretty random things as I was cleaning...a few things that must have moved here with us as they expired BEFORE we moved in!  Whoops.  Anyway, I was also able to get rid of the bottle dryer...which has driven me crazy since we first got it during those first few weeks of the girls being home.  We went through probably 30-40 bottles a day between pumping and feeding the girls in the beginning, so we did a lot of washing and the drying rack was great.  BUT...it took up SO much room on my counters and was such an eye sore.  SO..I am very excited to see that go.  Some of the other stuff made me a little sad thinking about how much my girlies have grown up and so fast!!  Here are some pics that defined our lives just 20 short months ago and now they are just part of the garbage out on our deck!  Crazy :)

Medicine for the acid reflux and gas.  They took the ranitidine from 2 weeks-6 months!

Desperate times called for desperate actions...not sure any of this crap worked...but we tried it all!

Oh, the pumping supplies.
The hospital taught us to warm the bottles in that plastic measuring thing, and we did for 11 months!

This is what the kitchen looked like as I was organizing!  Fun times!
